APPEAR’s target is to raise public awareness of European medical research projects. The four project partners therefore developed a communication strategy providing the covered research projects with communication services such as classical PR tools as well as films, which will be broadcasted by TV stations worldwide.
Public Relations activities:
For each of the four medical research projects, APPEAR develops a customised communication strategy, including tools such as communication workshops, press releases, interviews and articles. By enhancing permanent co-operation between APPEAR and the members of the particular scientific projects, individual needs and targets will be met.
Audiovisual production and distribution:
APPEAR provides to the selected LifeScience projects one of the most effective communication tools – a film. Television as today’s most widespread media is used in order to gain a significant raise of public awareness. For each of the four selected projects, high quality films meeting the international standards of science TV will be produced in two different styles and lengths and distributed to international TV stations for broadcast. Moreover, the films can be used for classical marketing purposes, such as presentations on fairs, congresses, events, and many more.
